I was in Sayulita, Mexico. It's a very small town by the sea, a bit up North from Puerto Vallarta. My sort of rich-like uncle owns a house down there and allowed me and some friends (

and

)to stay there for free as a graduation present. There, we ate glorious and cheap food, battled crabs, played with other various small critters, nearly died of dehydration, got a million mosquito bites, got drunk off tequila, bought fun useless crap from touristy shops, swam in the ocean, got beat up by the ocean, swam in the pool at the house, smelled horrible, took several naps, and read books. It's amazing how cheap things were! Our best meals were the cheapest meals we've ever had eating out. Best meaning AMAZING! One of the biggest parts of traveling for me is eating a lot of food, and I was quite pleased with what I got.
I was NOT pleased about getting eaten alive by mosquitoes and the humidity. Being a creature born and raised in a place like Oregon, my body always suffers when I'm anywhere over 90 degrees or that had a high humidity percentage in their climate. Fucking hooray for the northwest, guys. Seriously! I love traveling and visiting new places, but Portland is the only place in the world I could ever live.
Anyways, I had a fairly nice time. But I shall forever resent my Spanish teacher for not teaching me enough Spanish to help me form even one damn helpful sentence. Bastard.
AND NOW instead of relaxing for three days like I would love to do, I have to PACK because we're moving this week! Yay for bad timing! And I hate where we're moving too.
Devious Comments

I've never been able to go way into Mexico, just across the border a few times....... But I don't know a word of spanish......

And I gave a very nice response to the where I'm moving thing to another comment, so read that if you're curious.
I don't remeber if I told you, but I've decided to go to cosmotology school to get a licence in that before I move up there. I'm all set up to go, I just need to meet with the admitions lady about it to descus the course I'm taking on the 25th. But it should only take about 11 months to complete, so that's cool. Now everyone's making me cut their hair (more people than usual) since I told them, and I haven't even started formal classes yet.. ^.^ I cut my mom's hair and the next day she got the "is this your sister?" compliment.
I went tick or treating once up in those "rich houses" one year, and no, I would definately not want to live anywhere near there.... but then agian, I even hate the house in Colorado where they actually have a law that your grass connot be over 3inches or you will be fined.... There where alot of crazy laws...... I'm still kinda sketchy about where I'm going to stay when I got up there, but I always have the option that if all else fails I could stay with Dana dn Christina for a little while. But I would difinately not want that to be long term. So I kinda get what you mean about the traveling crap........ It's deffinately not what I want to do.... Particularly in a place where there is no public transporation. ^.^ I guess it's my fault, I have the chance to stay with my friend Erica for a while, but she's fucking all crazy on "OMG! I"M SO HAWT!!!!! hehe! EVERYONE WANTS TO SLEEP WITH ME BUT I"M WAITING FOR MARRAGE! I"M SO HOT!" and I'd kill her............. o.O;
I hate complicated living situations... don't you?
