This Orphan shit

I can use orphans however I want. House keepers, sweat shop workers, sex slaves, food, even all of the above. No one can use my orphans for their own purposes without my permission. That can't be change by some lame-o bill!

But SERIOUSLY ABOUT THE BILL SCARE, I don't think I buy this whole thing at all.
One; So far I haven't seen anything official stating that it truly exists, and two; even if it was real, I don't have any confidence that something like that would pass. I'm pretty sure it would be violating that whole right to life, liberty and PROPERTY thing. You can't just take a copyright away.

So until I see something from a RELIABLE source about this, I see no reason to shit bricks at this point.

If anyone has one of these reliable sources, please, for God's sakes, share it with the world so we may be enlightened.

I also want to add that if peeps actually READ the bill, they'd know that noone is trying to steal their art, it's just a matter of re-newing your copyrights and... mostly is with dead peeps. It's.. Peeps taking it the wrong way is pissing me off hardcore :B;

There's millions of people here making journal entries about it. You're sure to find something if you browse around for a few minutes.
But it's supposedly a bill that would allow all work that isn't properly trademarked to be used by anyone. Like I guess you'd have to get it trademarked through some place. I don't know. All I know is that it's probably a hoax or something stupid that wouldn't pass anyways because it's not legal and people shouldn't be getting their panties in a twist.
Now, say, if I woke up tomorrow and saw something about this on the headline news, THEN I would worry.

Supposably it's the idea that if ypu create somthing it doesn't belong to you unless it is copyrighted and registered through different corparations, and not just about old art work in which the artist has passed away.
